National Hindi Day

It is celebrated annually on 14th September. Hindi Diwas marks the day when the Constituent Assembly of India(Bharat) adopted the Hindi language as the official language on September 14, 1949. The decision to use Hindi as the country's official language was taken under the Constitution of India(Bharat).
